Manzanita Charter School
Manzanita Charter School is located on the Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc, California. Manzanita is a unique charter school which offers a challenging and rich curriculum to the students of the central coast. Approximately 440, K-6 students, attend Manzanita charter.......24 of whom spend the day with Mr. Loayza.

Dear Parents, Thank you for taking the time to familiarize yourself with my web page and resources. Our class can always use additional pencils, lined paper and tissue boxes. These are items that we seem to use quite a bit of. I appreciate any support that you can provide. Also, feel free to come in and help out if you would like to. I can usually use help with field trips, fundraising, classroom decorating, filing ,etc. Please notify our receptionist - Teresa that you are coming and I will make sure that I have something available for you (note: This can help with the mandatory parent volunteer hours)
I have compiled a variety of information on curriculum, class policies, resources and student work. I hope you find these resources interesting and helpful. Please fee free to browse through the site. A description of what is available within each link is provided below:
Curriculum link - This link includes many of the projects that students will complete this year. Since this is our first year of operation, the web site will serve as a living document growing with the class as we grow and adapt to a new school environment.
Resource Link - This link provides students and parents with helpful links, tutorials and information for completing assignments. It will also contain information that will help support students within the classroom.
Students Link - This link will be used for displaying and honoring the great student work that is accomplished in this class. To post student work on this link, students will need permission from their parents via a written permission slip. Students will maintain anonymity by including first names only. Also, if images are used, no identifying information will be included.
Homework Link - This link is designed to support students and parents with a schedule of the on-going homework that is given in my class. I will do my best to update this page daily. I suggest that you bookmark this page to your favorites for future use.
